Turn Concrete Green – Kick off to Living Earth Festival! – 6:00 p.m. Free Event
Kitchener City Hall Come wearing green, paint your face green, bring a house plant and turn our square green!

Slow Walk & Conversation Café – Starts at 6:15 p.m. Free Event!
6:15 Kitchener City Hall. Conversation Café begins at 7 p.m. Exhibit Café, 10 King St. W.
See King Street through a new lens by walking very slowly. Sit down for a Conversation Cafe to share our experience of living in this time.

Friday, April 18th

Documentary on local food production, farmer’s markets and gourmet cooking. The “Story of Stuff” by Annie Leonard will be shown following Tableland

Recycled Cycles Open House – 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Free event!

Inexpensive, reconditioned bicycles, promoting cycling as a non-polluting alternative and passing on skills in an interractive way. Call 749-9177 ext. 222 for more information
