NEW Items…. Every so often we will be asking the artists in our store to participate in a crafty challenge. This means new products for you!! Our current challenge is Reusable Shopping Bags. Eeach artist will create their version of this product, which will bring so many variations to the table (counter) for you to collect.

Each challenge will be displayed at the cash and available for you to purchase, starting now.

We chose this particular item as our challenge because of this site, reusablebags where they mention that plastic bags are bad, but paper bags are not the better option.

PLASTIC bags: don’t biodegrade, they photodegrade—breaking down into smaller and smaller toxic bits contaminating soil and waterways and entering the food web when animals accidentally ingest.

PAPER bags: it takes more than 4x the amount of energy to produce paper bags over plastic. Plastic Bags: 594 BTUs ; Paper Bags: 2511 BTUs.
