Upcoming Sale at Salvation Army Stores…

i have been super shopping lately, building on my collection of clothing to recycle as usual. the large laundry hampers where i store the collection is starting to overflow, so much that i went and bought two more hampers. so i have to stop shopping… and start working. (self plug: checkout my work here) BUT thats not saying YOU have to stop. shop! shop FOR me! and until the salvation army president starts drinking that selfish money hungry tea on his private jet as the the value village president does… the salvation army remains the best shopping deal spot. oh and the little unknown thrift shops too. tell me if you have discovered a great one in your area.

NEXT WEEKEND… make sure you hit the Salvation Army store near you and experience fun shopping once again. i love going through the racks, filling the cart til its overflowing and realizing its only going to cost $30. thats what thrift shopping used to be like. thats what it should be like.

NEW Elmira Market

Elmira has added handmade to their downtown with the creation of an indoor market. They run every Saturday, and you can have a table for a mere $20.  The market has been open since May 16 and is a work in progress.

RareFunk officially opened June 5th 2008 with items from about local 14 artists, and a few previously loved items. Now, ONE YEAR LATER, they have exactly 90 artists selling their funky unique handmade works at this little diamond in the rough on Duke st, Downtown Kitchener (ontario)

Spare change SALE! at Salvation Army

this is definately my kind of sale. i need to personally find a really good Salvation Army Store. the one in cambridge is good — but getting picked over. the one in kitchener on highland seems to be filled with all my own things. and yes at first i pick them up, excited to buy them. silly girl.

Maybe this needs to ba a road trip day. Shame its weekdays thou….ooooh i feel a sick day coming on.
